Some more firsts...

My dear friend Angela stopped on her way through town so she could meet Caden. I was telling her how Caden already loves the TV and bless her heart on her way back home she stopped and dropped off a baby mozart dvd for the lil man. Of course he loved it and I am so happy that she finally got to meet Caden! Thanks again Ang!!



As most of you know Kyle and I love to go camping and hiking and every fall we try to make it to Maplewood to do a hike during peak season because it is SO beautiful. So off we went but of course this year it wasn't as pretty as usual because of the early cold, BUT it was Cadens first time there and his first hike so it was a great family day nonetheless!!

Caden last about halfway and then fell fast asleep on daddy's chest! TOO CUTE!!

My baby is 3 months old already!

It's hard to believe that three months ago our lives were forever changed. I am not really sure how I spent my time before Caden and I definitely can't imagine my life without him. Kyle and I were talking the other day how amazing it is that you can love somebody so much after just knowing them such a short period of time. In the last three months I have learned so much about being a mommy and I have defintely seen a new light in my hubby as he takes on the role of daddy.

We now have started introducing Caden to "normal" formula since he has been on the super expensive kind due to his sensitive tummy. He is doing great with it and every week gets better with his fussiness. He is smiling more and more and I have now heard him giggle twice, but both times were in his sleep so it doesn't really count. He is also a lot more aware of his surroundings and can control his hands and likes to swat at toys in front of him. Oh the small things in life that make a mommy smile!!

3 Months

Caden almost 3 months old. Wow, does time fly. He is changing so much, it seems like its every day. He is smiling more and more and he has slept through the night 3 nights now. YAY!! It feels good to have longer than 3 or 4 hour stretches.


Grandma and Grandpa Larson will be leaving back to AZ tom and they won't be back until Christmas. I am sure they will miss him tons and he will be such a big boy the next time they see him. It has been really nice to have them around to help out and for a babysitter. Thank you G&G Larson!!



Caden and I went to Fergus for the annual family baseball game. We however had to sit in the car the whole time because it was SO cold and rainy!
