The reason I was put on this earth, was to be a mother. I now know this after having our first amazing child!

Cute lil Pumpkin

Jill and I met for coffee and she finally got to meet Caden. Life as a mommy sure is busy, but Jill and I FINALLY made time to meet! Thanks for all the "grown up" conversations you always provide Jill!! Working with kids I just don't seem to get those enough these days!!

My Cute lil Pumpkin....Here is the adorable pumpkin hat that Jill made for Caden! Thanks again!!

On my way home last visit I stopped in Bismark and met up Tanya, She is expecting her lil girl to arrive Dec. 8th. It is so nice to reconnect with old friends. Tanya is my oldest friend, as we have been friends since Kindergarten. WOW that is 25 years!!!! I can't wait to meet her lil peanut!

Mom spending a couple more minutes with Caden before I head back to Fargo. Leaving my family after all these years (11) still doesn't get easier. In fact it's even harder now that Caden is here. Love you Mom and Dad!

When I was home we took Grandma Kouba out shopping. She LOVES to go shopping, so my sister, mom and I with the kiddos took her to the mall for the afternoon. It is so fun to see how excited she gets to go!

The cutest lil cow I've ever seen!

Daddy and Cade hangin out and watching the Vikes game together, already starting the male bonding!! Aww I love my two guys!!!

Zoe was a pumpkin last year and she hated it just as much as she did this year...poor pup

Cade's first halloween

Adam and Sara stopped by before going out, Adam was Pee-wee Herman (PERFECT) and Sara was a peacock. Two very cool costumes!! They wanted us to go out, but it sounded more appealing to stay home and relax. Is that what happens when you become a mommy and daddy?

look at that cute lil cow but!!

Feeding time....lil cow drinking his milk :)

I was playing with Caden and Kyle caught some cute pics!!

what a sweet little face

Here's our little cow

He got a lot of attention when we made a trip to walmart. Who would have thought a cow could bring so many smiles!!

Caden's first Halloween

I had to dress up for preschool, the first day I was a bee and the next a cowgirl...and how appropriate for a cowgirl to take a picture with her lil calf!

A Trip Home

Caden is 16 weeks old today. Wow that's all I can say. He is definitely a happier baby now. We tried going on "regular" formula awhile ago, but his tummy still couldn't handle it so we are still on the hypoallergenic kind, but his 4 month check up is next week so we will talk to the doctor about our next step, I think he may be ready for cereal soon. He has been sleeping pretty well through the nights, on occassion will wake up with a wimper, but nothing a pacifier won't cure! Mommy just isn't ready to give that lifesaver up yet!! He is also finally getting some of his hair back. He has one little mustache left in the back of his original baby hair, but the rest all fell out and was sportin the bald look. But now it's starting to come back!!

It seems like every week he grows so much. Is it possible that I love him more and more everyday. He is so funny now too that he is trying to figure out how to use his hands and anything he does, takes some major concentration. He also has the druling down to a science and puts basically anything he can in his mouth. oohh what a cutie. Anway, last weekend I went home for a visit and here are a few of the hundreds of pictures I took!

Grandma and Grandpa with Caden

Caden and Macy hung out together the whole weekend. I think Macy taught Caden how to use his voice...she definitely knows how to use it!!!

Both in their bumbos

Madi and Kenna with the babies, obviously you can tell by their hair that this was in the morning just after waking up!! They basically spent the entire weekend at grandma and grandpas so they could see Caden and I

spending time with auntie

Greg's kids Kynaston and Rayden who wouldn't let me take thier picture the lil stinkers...man they are growing up fast!!

Sisters and their babies

So peaceful on grandmas lap!

We went to Brad and Julia's house to visit their baby Jace who is three days younger than Caden

Madi was such a big helper, she just loves taking care of those babies, a little mother hen.

Grandpa playing with Caden

Great Grandma June and Grandpa John came to see Caden

How precious

Great Aunt Debbie and Great Grandpa oohing over Caden, I love the look on Caden's face on this one!

Aunt Deb just couldn't wait to come over and see Caden...and who could blame her!!! It's so fun to go home and have everybody see him!!

This is how they spent a lot of their time together...just chattin away. I wonder what was said?

While Madi was helping with babies, Kenna was eating her chocolate whipped cream. While I was home, I learned that when at applebees the girls get a free ice cream with their kids meal, well kenna orders her with out the ice cream, just the whipped cream. So sure enough the waitress brought her a bowl of whipped cream. Too funny!!

Sweet baby Cade

Grandpa and Grandson, not sure who was loving this more!!
